About Me
Author. Composer.
Music is the voice of the soul, it enrages, it inspires and it speaks. Music can express when words fail and the power of music lightens up even the darkest of times. This is me.
My love for composition took off when I started to learn classical piano at the age of twelve and grew up learning about the many composers of the past. I later developed my skills further at the age of fourteen when I started to learn the violin and did some minor performances in a small string group at my high school, amongst others on the piano. I left high school with a grade A in Music GCSE and went on to further study Music A - Level and B - Tech Music Technology at St. John Rigby college.
I am now currently studying Music Composition for Films and Games with Technology at The University of Hertfordshire. Here I took on a project with some third years. For there final project they made a documentary about male suicide called the “The True Survivors of Suicide”. I composed and mixed all the music for the documentary. Within the university the documentary became a quick success and ended up winning two awards at the Visions festival 2018, it won the Zeiss award of best cinematography. The most prestigious award that was given to the project was from ITV, it won the ITV Film of The Year award.
As a now first-time author, I am progressively moving my works into the realm of writing, something that I have always dreamed of.
My Instagram and TikTok is the place to be for updates on all my works!
