The idea of my project started out as a brief outline of, a fifteen-minute concept album set to images and a short piece of literature.  I really wanted a story to go along with my music as I feel the expressions in the music will have more depth and feel more connected to what I am trying to portray.  The project is based around depression and how one man comes over this thing that everyone in their life comes across, one way or another.  I really wanted to comment on this and that became my driving force with the project.  Using a form of Ternary with the album's structure, ABA1, I can show the story of how one man learns to live with his inner battle.  Personally, a few careers prospects with this project could be ranging from film composition to game audio as this project was perfect as it displayed a range of different styles, techniques and timbre.

This project, in it's entirety was for my Music Composition and Technology for Films and Games undergraduate degree, at the University of Hertfordshire.  As all final year students we are tasked with a final major project to complete throughout our final year and the project that is now before you is what I chose to create, produce and submit for my Final Major Project!
